ایمرجنسی وہیکل آپریٹر سندھ انٹیگریٹڈ ایمرجنسی اینڈ ہیلتھ سروسز کی ایمرجنسی میڈیکل سروسز کے ایمبولینس عملے کا رکن ہے۔ EVO ہنگامی کالوں کا جواب دیتا ہے اور گاڑی کو محفوظ اور موثر انداز میں چلاتا ہے۔ EVO کو BLS میں ایمبولینس کے عملے کی مدد کرنے کی ضرورت ہے جہاں ضرورت ہو۔

Job Responsibilities and Authorities

 

• Responsible for the external cleaning of the EVO vehicle, the driver’s cabin, identifying any vehicle-related issues, and ensuring accident-free and comfortable driving.

• Must report for duty smartly dressed in uniform (clean-shaven if not keeping a beard).

• Should report at least 15 minutes before the shift starts to ensure a smooth takeover of responsibilities.

• During the ambulance shift, ensure proper external cleaning and hand it over to the next crew in the same condition.

• At the start of the duty, must properly take charge of the ambulance, document it on the provided form, and hand it over to the next shift crew/station coordinator accordingly.

• Ensure the ambulance is mechanically fit in all aspects for operational use.

• After taking charge of the ambulance, the driver should not leave it without informing the team leader.

• Must strive to enhance knowledge of the geography and key locations of their duty area.

• If not present in the ambulance, the driver is responsible for responding to any emergency call immediately and informing the doctor without delay.

• Wearing seat belts is mandatory for both the driver and passengers while driving.

• No one other than duty staff is allowed to ride in the ambulance; attendants are not allowed to sit in the front seat during patient transfers.

• Will communicate with C&C via wireless; if traffic conditions don’t allow, the EMT may communicate on behalf of the driver.

• Must aim to reach the incident site within standard response time without compromising the safety of crew, patient, or vehicle.

• Keep the vehicle running at the incident site at all times.

• Assist the doctor and EMT in providing care at the incident site, as needed.

• Turn off the ambulance upon reaching the hospital and assist the team in offloading the patient.

• If needed, assist in transferring the patient to the hospital bed.

• It is the driver’s responsibility to properly lock and secure the ambulance during patient transfer.

• Do not use emergency sirens and lights while transporting routine/non-emergency cases or when returning to the station/key point.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Station Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of computers and Android devices is required.

• Education: Middle/Matric pass

• Training/Preferred Certifications: Safe Driving / Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with LTV or similar ambulance-type vehicles

• Driving License: LTV license is mandatory

• Age: Minimum 25 years

• Gender: Male / Female

• Domicile: Sindh
